A bright caffeinated loose-leaf tea built for the beginning of the day.

Day Tea combines Lung Ching green tea, oolong, and yerba mate with orange, lemon, light ginger, peppermint, lemongrass, and a restrained touch of rosemary.

The tea bases provide the structure. Citrus gives the cup its first clear impression, while mint, ginger, and rosemary keep the finish fresh without making the blend taste grassy, overly herbal, or aggressively bitter.

Caffeine levels naturally vary according to the ingredients, serving amount, water temperature, and steeping time.

Steeping Instructions

Use 6g of loose-leaf tea per 12 oz of water.

Heat water to approximately 185°F. Steep for 3½ – 4½ minutes, then strain thoroughly.

For a smoother cup, begin at 3½ minutes. Avoid boiling water or excessive steeping, which can make the green tea and yerba mate taste unnecessarily bitter.

Add Pure Honey after steeping when desired.

Iced Preparation

Use 10g of tea with 10 oz of water at approximately 185°F.

Steep for 4 minutes, strain, and immediately pour over a full glass of ice.
