Onyx & Jade Tea Company is a Black-owned, family-owned tea company founded by Michael “Mike” Norris in Temecula, California.
We create original loose-leaf tea recipes designed around recognizable ingredients, balanced flavor, and the way tea fits into real life. Every blend begins with a clear purpose, but flavor always has to carry the cup.
Our standard is simple: the tea should have body, identity, and a finish worth remembering.
Why Onyx & Jade
The name Onyx & Jade comes from the middle names of Mike’s children.
The company was created to build something meaningful for them—something rooted in discipline, craftsmanship, ownership, and long-term legacy.
That purpose shapes the way we approach every recipe, product, and customer relationship. We are not building a temporary trend. We are building a company our family can be proud to carry forward.
Tea Has Always Meant More Than a Beverage
Some of Mike’s earliest connections to tea came from drinking it at night with his grandmother.
Those cups represented comfort, care, and a dependable part of the day. Onyx & Jade Tea Company carries that feeling forward while creating teas for modern daily life.
Some blends belong in the morning. Some are made for the middle of a long day. Others are created for the evening, when everything finally begins to slow down.

Our Recipes Are Our Own
Onyx & Jade teas are developed as original company recipes.
We do not build the brand around buying someone else’s finished flavored tea and placing our name on it. Our blends are developed ingredient by ingredient to create the flavor, body, aroma, and finish we believe the cup needs.
That means testing, adjusting, tasting, and sometimes rebuilding a recipe until it performs as a complete tea—not flavored water and not a collection of ingredients without direction.
